OBITUARY FOR ROZELLA “ROSIE” E. MILLER
Rozella “Rosie” E. Miller, age 88, of Defiance, Ohio and formerly of Napoleon, Ohio, died Wednesday afternoon at the home of her daughter, Shari.
Born June 13, 1920 in Flatrock Township, Ohio, the daughter of Clarence and Margaret (Bortz) Weber. On November 10, 1944 she married Edward Miller and he preceded her in death on March 9, 2003.
Surviving is two sons Edward “Mike” Miller, James M. Miller; two daughters Shari (Andy) Hines, Patricia (Burdell) Sonnenberg,; 5 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren; 2 brothers Harold Weber, Melvin (Joann) Weber,; 4 sisters Donna Page, June Mengerink, Esther Bischoff and Ruth (Bob) Coressel.
She was preceded in death also by one sister Mary Hahn and 3 brothers Richard, Kenneth and Carl Weber.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday in St. John’s United Church of Christ, Rev. Jane Hillman officiating. Interment will be made in the church cemetery.
Friends may call at the Walker Mortuary, Napoleon, Ohio on Sunday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. and one hour prior to the service at the church on Monday.
The family has suggested that memorial contributions may be made to the church or to the Henry County Hospice.
