Biography

Norma A. Herge, age 92, of Malinta, Ohio, died Wednesday morning at the Good Shepherd Home, Fostoria, Ohio.
Born December 23, 1916 in Hamler, Ohio, the daughter of Roscoe and Nona (Mowery) Russell. On October 23, 1938 she married Robert C. Herge and he preceded her in death on May 24, 1984.
Norma was a clerk for the U.S. Post Office in Malinta for 23 years, retiring in 1973. She also was the secretary for the Malinta Mutual Telephone Co. for several years. She was an active member of the Trinity Lutheran Church, Malinta, Ohio.
Surviving is 1 son, Robert R. (Lorraine) Herge, Seven Lakes, North Carolina; daughter in law Nancy Herge, Fostoria, Ohio, 4 grandchildren, Krista L. (Matt) Feindel, Todd R. Herge, Lori (Bill) Coseo, Lisa (Art) Sebastiano, 6 great grandchildren; 2 brothers Arthur Russell, Largo, Florida and Raymond W. (Elizabeth) Russell, Malinta, Ohio.
She was preceded in death also by 1 son Richard “Rick” L. Herge, 4 brothers Paul, Bernard, Roscoe Jr., Maurice Russell and 2 sisters Dorothy Mayer and Miriam Cody.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday in the Walker Mortuary, Napoleon, Ohio, Rev. Rev. Richard Weaver, officiating. Interment will be made in Hoy Cemetery, Harrison Township, Ohio.
Friends may call at the mortuary on Saturday from noon to 2 p.m.l
