Biography
Norma Josephine Duquette, age 88, of Napoleon, Ohio, died Sunday morning at her home.
Born May 9, 1920 in Henry County, Ohio, the daughter of Emil and Esther (Sellstrom) Klein. On June 30, 1940 she married Albert D. Duquette, who survives of Napoleon.
Norma was an inspector for the former J.R. Winters Co. of Napoleon. She also was a volunteer at the Filling Memorial Home of Mercy of Napoleon for over 30 years. She was a member of Emanuel Lutheran Church of Napoleon and the church Women’s Circle.
Surviving also are two daughters Janet (Steve) Mantel, Bryan, Ohio, Connie (William) Williams, Napoleon, Ohio; one daughter in law Patti Turner, Rockwall, Texas; 9 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one son James Duquette, two brothers Herbert and Marion Klein and one sister Helen Crawford.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Emanuel Lutheran Church, Rev. James Castello, officiating. Interment will be made in Forest Hill Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Walker Mortuary on Tuesday from 2 to 8 p.m. and one hour prior to the service at the church on Wednesday.
The family has suggested that memorial contributions may be made to the church, the Filling Memorial Home of Mercy or to a charity of the donor’s choice.
