OBITUARY FOR HUBERT W. TAYLOR

Hubert W. Taylor, age 87, of Napoleon, Ohio, died Thursday evening at the Golden Living Center Northcrest, Napoleon, Ohio.
Born December 31, 1921 in Knoxville, Tenn., the son of Columbus Calvin and Rosa (Prince) Taylor. On February 8, 1941 he married Helen “Mildred” Parsley and she preceded him in death on October 26, 2001.
Hubert retired in 1980 from the Ford Motor Co., Sterling Heights, Mich. after 28 years of service. He was a WW II Navy veteran.
Surviving are 3 sons Donald (Janice) Taylor, Washington, Mich., Eddie (Diana) Taylor, Centerline, Mich, Dennis Taylor, Aurora, Colorado; 1 daughter Linda Kryling, Napoleon, Ohio; 10 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death also by 1 son Jerry Taylor, 2 brothers George and Roe Taylor, 4 sisters Lubernice Schram, Pearl Maples, Minnie Helen Lawson and Jewell Alexander.
A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. Monday at Glenwood Cemetery, Napoleon, Ohio, where military honors will be accorded by the joint veterans posts of Napoleon.
The family has suggested that memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude’s Childrens Hospital.
Arrangements are in care of the Walker Mortuary, Napoleon, Ohio.
