Edna Marie Miller, age 93, of Bradenton, Florida and formerly of Napoleon, Ohio, passed away Monday afternoon at the Blake Medical Center, Bradenton, Florida.
Born November 14, 1915 in Washington Township, Harden County, Ohio, the daughter of W. Benjamin and Mary E. (Kern) Arn. On June 5, 1938 she married Lewis B. Miller and he preceded her in death on April 13, 1998.
Edna was a retired City of Napoleon elementary school teacher. She was a graduate of B.G.S.U. and a member of Alpha-Chi-Omega-Sorority, Beta-Phi Chapter. She was a former member of the OES Chapter #232 and a member of the Browsers Literary Group, both of Napoleon, Ohio. She was a former member of the First Presbyterian Church of Napoleon and a member of the Trailer Estates Covenant Church, Bradenton, Florida.
Surviving is one son Dr. Stephen A. (Bonnie) Miller, Tucson, Arizona; one daughter Barbara A. (Rex) Walker, Napoleon, Ohio; 4 grandchildren 6 great grandchildren and one half brother John Arn, Englewood, Florida.
She was preceded in death also by 2 brothers Cecil and Walter Arn and 1 sister Margie Garmon.
Services will be held at 3 P.M. Sunday in the Walker Mortuary, Napoleon, Ohio, Dr. Larry McDougle, officiating. Interment will be made in Glenwood Cemetery.
Friends may call at the mortuary Sunday from 1 to 3 p.m.
The family has suggested that memorial contributions may be made to the Trailer Estates Covenant Church, Bradenton, Florida, the Manatee American Red Cross or to a charity of the donor’s choice.
