Luther “Luke” A. Hardy, age 59, of Napoleon Ohio died Thursday afternoon at the Henry County Hospital.
Born August 16, 1950 in Napoleon, Ohio, the son of the late Herman “Smoke” and Luella (Brandeberry) Hardy. On October 21, 1978 he married Margie Selhorst and they later divorced.
Luther was employed in the warehouse at the Campbell Soup Company in Napoleon for 42 years.
Surviving are two sons, Brent Hardy of Holland, Ohio, Tyler Hardy of Napoleon; a daughter, Mary (Kenzy) Kern of Napoleon; brothers Bob Hardy of Leipsic and Raymond Hardy of Napoleon; sister, Marilyn Rednour of Napoleon; two grandchildren, Makenna and Kyelar Kern.
He was preceded in death also by brothers, John and Herman “Jump” Hardy and sisters Shirley and Barb Hardy.
Funeral Services will be held at 6:00 PM. Monday in the Walker Mortuary, Napoleon, Ohio, Rev. Don Ross, officiating. Burial will be held at a later date in the Forest Hill Cemetery, Napoleon, Ohio.
The family will receive friends at the mortuary from 1:00 P.M. up to the time of the service on Monday.
The family has suggested that memorial contributions may be made to the Henry County Humane Society or a charity of the donor’s choice.
