Marceille I. Mitchell, age 90, of Kendallville, Indiana and formerly of Napoleon, Ohio, died Wednesday evening at the Lutheran Life Villages of Kendallville.
Born June 9, 1919 in Meadville, Pennsylvania, the daughter of Lester L. and Dorothy L. (Wells) Boulton. She married Robert Hyter in 1935, they divorced, she then married Lloyd Mitchell in 1947 and both preceded her in death.
Marceille retired from the Campbell Soup Co. of Napoleon in 1979. She attended the Church of Christ, Weston, Ohio. She resided at the Lamplighter, Kendallville, IN for the last several years.
Surviving are two sons Ronald P. (Micki) Hyter, Morrisville, Tenn., Bernard “Butch” (Bonnie) Hyter, Grand Rapids, Ohio; three daughters Marilu (Duane) Schoonover, San Diego, Calif, Rose Mitchell and Alice (William) Wink, both of Kendallville, IN; 11 grandchildren, 3 step grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren 5 step great grandchildren, 16 great great grandchildren, 2 step great great grandchildren and brother Lawrence Boulton, Montgomery, Michigan.
She was preceded in death also by one son Charles Hyter, one daughter Dorothy Fahrer and one brother Arthur Boulton.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday in the Walker Mortuary, Napoleon, Ohio. . Interment will be made in Riverview Memory Gardens, rural Defiance County, Ohio.
Friends may call at the mortuary on Sunday from 2 to 6 p.m.
The family has suggested that memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
